Adding System i Navigator Management Central Definitions (Command & Package) to IBM Navigator for i

Add functionality to IBM Navigator for i that is similar to Management Central in System i Navigator. Functions under the 'Definitions' tab: Command and Package give us the ability to send commands and packages to our entire environment in one place rather than logging on to each of our 29 lpars/servers to issue commands or ftp files individually.

Use Case:

These functions enable us to do things such as create save files, users, and other daily tasks. Also, the ability to send save files, programs, and various other objects to all lpars/servers in one place.

Int he ACS tool we have provided an IFS interface, this support does allow you to easily move things between many systems. You can select the item you want, right click select send, and then select all the system you wan to send this too.

This should provide the exact function you are requesting.
